I’d say, they are not equally bad in a moral way. But they are definitely a bigger danger to the world, because the first group might hold a bad apple accountable. As a Pennsylvanian I saw the writing on the wall leading up to the 2024 election. I grew up in a very conservative household, and my parents are still very pro-Trump. The entire US political system is designed to prevent the will of the majority from being enacted. Just look at the number of votes in the senate for each party as one of the more egregious examples.
