Paying for food using crypto, let alone picking the “right” one seems like another dead end.

As for IBAN/SWIFT, that’s like publishing your bank account details online which has a whole lot of other risks associated with it, least of which is people supplying your details to a charity of their choice.

I’d be surprised if you can’t just ship it with UPS or FedEx.

I’m not familiar with the image but I suspect that it was taken during the massive bushfires during the summer of 2019-2020 when over 11,000 fires wiped out wildlife habitats across the East coast of Australia and with it many koalas.

What is it that drives your desire to increase the size of the fediverse and what makes you think that sport is something that everyone cares about?

If you want to have more sports because it interests you, then start a community on an instance that wants it, or failing that start your own instance and put whatever you want on it.

The beauty of the fediverse experience is that I can choose to engage with or ignore your efforts exactly to the extent of my level of interest, as can everyone else.
