I’m fairly sure I’ve seen this image before as much as ten years ago. Probably not generated.

I hope this awakens something in you.
I can see that. My feet take a few days of careful husbanding before they develop the callouses for a new pair of sandals, and there’s gonna be some sore spots. It helps to stick a bandaid over the sore spots to give them a chance to toughen up.
I can well imagine that some people might take longer or develop blisters more easily, preventing the skin from getting to that point. Dry skin is a good hypothesis.
Socks are a totally decent option. If it’s not going to happen, don’t try to force it. /nod

My partner makes baconish bits by mixing large coconut flakes with paprika and some other stuff and then crisping it in the oven. Pretty good.
I’ve tried that, I find the socks make them too likely to slip when I walk. Don’t understand it.

Claimed to be a former Teamster, doubt many Greeks in that union.
Buckwheat pillow is really nice.
Our union negotiates our pay scales, which i am eternally grateful for. I have a lot of trouble with conflict, and job hunting is actual torture.

There’s just so much love going into it. You can’t savage something so badly without a certain adoration.

Well… use certbot’s new dns persistence mode. That may be a few years before it gets in. May be in backports, haven’t checked.
Keeping cats inside is more of a challenge, for sure, but not an insurmountable one. You have to put more effort into enrichment for them, or they’ll get bored and destroy everything. We have two VERY active cats we’re keeping indoors, and we have to play with them a lot (oh no). We’d like to build a catio, but space is limited.
There are definitely cats who would support Trump.

“Balk” is quite the word for eyerolling hard enough that I pulled something.

You could say the same of Mozart. Lots of nepo babies turn out good work.
The lack of opportunity is a problem for everyone else. You have to wonder how many Mozarts died in poverty.

No, it would be a tax on revenues that amazon, facebook, adobe, xitter, etc extract from Canadians. Digital Services. Subscriptions, software, that kind of thing.

Digital. Services. Tax.
Yeah, makes sense. Someone else posted the original, too.
