Did you read the article? They are now doing a live tour of KPop Demon Hunter" and they have at least one example of there being confusion in the market. AEG and Netflix could have promoted the tour as HUNTR/X: KPop Demon Hunters or something to avoid this. I suspect there will be a settlement as just because there was no confusion when it was just a movie doesn’t mean they can go into live concerts with the same name.

Tbh, the Midwest gives the US a bad name when it comes to food preferences. The south spices the hell out of foods, the southwest has a ton of Mexican influence, the west coast has both Mexican and Asian influence in their cuisine
For me the pieces that didn’t work were all the customizations I had with gnome shell namely around “quake-style” terminal, cursors/themes, and some app panels like tailscale. I’ve been able to resolve 90% of those issues but it took some time and was frustrating but that comes with using anything new

Where? Of all places, lemmy certainly doesn’t have folks defending zionists and even in western society at large you have public sentiment against Zionism (or at the very least, the west helping fund it)
Ehh, I loved Gnome with the bottom panel hidden and tiling manager installed via gnome shell extensions. KDE just feels like it hasn’t substantially changed in ~15 years and just feels dated and like a halfway attempt at recreating Aero. I’ve moved over to Cosmic and I yearn for my gnome days but it’s getting better with each release.
Again, please read the article. The more apt comparison would be if McDonald’s Plumbing started selling and marketing burgers. This is a pretty straightforward case and will likely be settled for a sum that can be found in Netflix’s/AEG’s couch cushions. Also, “maliciousness” is not a factor in determining trademark infringement.
