  • Personally I find driving in France something else - an apparent obsession with being in the passing lane for as little time as possible. Like if you’re passing 2 lorries with 3 car lengths between them you absolutely do not need to pull in between them only to pull out again 2 seconds later.

    God help you if you’re not passing something quickly enough for the driver behind you will sit 6 inches off your ass with the blinkers going.

    It’s unnerving as fuck to watch a train of 10 cars, all doing 130km/h, 6 inches apart with one or two dudes weaving in and out of lanes, not leaving anything like a safe distance to the vehicle behind when they switch into either lane.
