Are we human able to feel pheromones? Or do they date other species?

Else, well, if they smell on a daily basis, some honnesty on the first date is not wrong, I guess…

The smell plays a role in attraction. Fertility surely plays a role too, for heterosexual relationships… yet I guess the compatibility of immune system should still play a role in homosexual relationships and between people who aren’t fertile (due to age or health conditions) since it is not conscious, no? Do you know if it has been studied too?

That last bit is huge. When I transitioned I went from slightly bi to full homo (hormones can do weird things) and went from thinking that most people smelled pretty good with mild sweat to loving it in women and finding it utterly repulsive in a way that I get how some people could like it, but please get it away from me on men.

A same persone kiss doesn’t “taste” the same according to what they ate just before. Yet may the compatibility of a persone doesn’t depend on the last thing they ate?

When kissing you’re not sampling for what they ate, you are sampling for genetic compatibility.

          Disgusting?.. … i guess

I don’t sample anything when I kiss, so I don’t know… for me it is more a moment of exchange with an other persone and that mater is more in the sentimental feelings and complicity.

Sure. Your language is nice and poetic. However, part of that soul searching is gene-matching, and it happens subconsciously.

Not saying your soul isn’t beautiful, but don’t deprive your meat of it’s credit.

Have you ever kissed someone you loved and found out from that kiss that youwere not compatible with that persone? I have know a few kissers, but I haven’t heared of that among my friends or relatives…
