It’s not doomerism, it’s scientific fact. The climate is collapsing, entire populations of animals are collapsing or starting to collapse, forest fires and storms are becoming more frequent and severe and in turn droughts and flooding have greatly increased along with extreme heat events that have already killed hundreds of thousands of people that are too disadvantaged to have access to air conditioned places. Most of these are in poor areas of northern India and Africa that apparently you don’t care enough about to fit into your malformed and lacking world view.

Thinking everything is fine is just horribly ignorant given all the readily available articles, youtube videos, scientific papers and raw data that shows just how fucked we are.

You’re essentially putting a paper bag over your head and unironically saying “This is fine” while people on the other side of the shaky wall you put up die of heat stroke, drown, starve, or burn to death.

*We are currently in the middle of cascading environmental collapse. All you have to do to recognize it is open your fucking eyes and read the fucking data.
