Since this is the only other comment about their volume I’m putting this here. Every time I see this image posted, I have to point out there is 0 chance those are 4000 cm³. Those are like, 4x or 5x the size of a 4 L (1 gallon for you americans) milk jug, which actually are ~4000 ml.

Yes, I’m using the single-character, CJK-fullwidth forms for cm³, ml, cc to achieve vertical alignment

      That’s kind of hot

Units are meant to be cross-language. If you want stupid units and ad-hoc abbreviations, use the imperial system. They have PSI (lbf/in²) and mph (mi/h), where one has “p” for reciprocity (“/”) and another nothing. And imagine the chaos if other languages used imperial units and abbreviated them: see Wikidata for inch, including 100+ language versions

The average dude on the Fediverse probably carries around twice as much weight in moobs.

Seriously though, I’ve made myself 4000cc breast forms and they weigh about 8 pounds each. Carrying them around is like carrying a weighted vest.

Why sling around insults like this?

It feels like “You can take the user out of Reddit, but you can’t take Reddit out of the user”, lol

Cmon. Just let people be people.

You making those breast forms sounds cool. How come you did? Some costume?

It’s just a jovial jab at us Internet people in general. I’m big myself. Also, it’s meant to remind people of the weight we all carry around on our spines. People kind of lose their minds and get all moral about boobs. 16 pounds of muscle or man fat on top of a spine is perfectly cromulent but 16 pounds of boob, real or fake, is evil and will destroy it.

I made the breast forms because I’m a crossdresser.

I see. The shadows that a snarky fatphobic internet casts on that language (“average [x] user”, “moobs”) are heavy, and it was hard for me to see the attempt to reclaim.

            Also, crossdressing is based.

Would someone not need like skin grafts or something to actually fit them? Like just the surface area seems really wild to cover with the existing skin of even a larger chest.

plus even if you do get enough skin to contain them, doesn’t that skin now have to bear several kg of weight?? Imagine being jostled too hard and your tits just… detach… 💀

As far as I know, skin stretches. It has a harder time shrinking though so once you get those 4l boobs, you’ll never want to remove them.

That’s actually a good question. I assume that plastic surgeons take one of the modern versions of the Hippocratic Oath.

At what point do large breast implants constitute harm to the patient, and a violation of the oath?
