Since this is the only other comment about their volume I’m putting this here. Every time I see this image posted, I have to point out there is 0 chance those are 4000 cm³. Those are like, 4x or 5x the size of a 4 L (1 gallon for you americans) milk jug, which actually are ~4000 ml.
Units are meant to be cross-language. If you want stupid units and ad-hoc abbreviations, use the imperial system. They have PSI (lbf/in²) and mph (mi/h), where one has “p” for reciprocity (“/”) and another nothing. And imagine the chaos if other languages used imperial units and abbreviated them: see Wikidata for inch, including 100+ language versions
