Could you have a fan that sends the smell somewhere else. Does not need to be powerfull, just enough to send the smell away. Or do you actually enjoy it or use it to know when to talk about said coworker?

I probably don’t mess around my system too much and don’t install too many things outside Debian repositories to make issues with the upgrades.
Debian can take a week to upgrade? Apparently I’m yolo’ing it and just the upgrade. However I have just done one major update, so u might just be lucky

My best smart playlist I had in iTunes was the one that included the top 50 of all my music with 3 stars or more (one star was not music, two stars was music I would never listen to randomly, and anything above would be actual music rating), sorted by fewest plays. I would then put that playlist on random, so music I haven’t heard a lot, like newly added music, would be in heavy rotation in the start until the play count started to match my other music.

Again, you can’t compare a transmission to an operating system. And not everyone using Linux takes a deep dive into everything in there. But if your Ford kept having transmission issues you might go with a Toyota the next time - that’s what I meant about caring/paying attention

You would care about (or at least pay attention to) the transmission if your car kept breaking down because of it. But unlike a car, on a computer you could relatively easy change out the OS with something else.
As always, the analogy between cars and computers are not one to one.
Can’t we just build it into systemd?
