Statute regarding Disorderly Conduct for the state of Kansas:

Not to chime in on your friendship, but sometimes those perpetuating negativities build a lasting impression that it’s the only lens to see the world in - when it shouldn’t be, even if both people are accustomed to the dark and sarcastic humor…
But yeah, I agree that’s the usage I’m most familiar with too, like a magical tone that makes difficult things very simple, sarcastically. I know someone closely who also just used to use it unironically because ‘it’s pretty’ and it had its own meaning. They also hate AI but I haven’t asked their thoughts on this hijacking.
I personally don’t hate it with a passion, but seeing it pop up everywhere from AI made software repos, to now just the mainstream icon for the “jump into my world now AI” button now has been from annoying to just surprising… It’s like the new version of the Notification or Email/New Message icons that we have seen adopted everywhere, but for AI.

Another useful rule:
If you are on a gargantuan site with millions of unique content items, and the link is unreasonably short, it is likely a personalized link tied to your account.
Facebook does this, I think TikTok too, which might even show the viewer which account generated the link, hence doxing your real identity.Always try to get the content link from the web url through a private browser window, instead of clicking dedicated “Share” buttons on pages.
Examples (from memory, so inaccurate) :
facebook.com/share/GPQR221
instead of
facebook.com/video/10000021928282/…YouTube is an exception to this rule.
Have we all unanimously agreed throughout all industries that ✨ stands for AI? If we did when was the meeting, and why wasn’t I invited?

Yup, sad. I was thinking about this “flow” the other day. Every (corporate) decision - even the bad ones - begins with a thought, a brainstorm, a formal meeting, and then the bureaucratic nuts, bolts and strings.
Maybe some upper level management came across a mention of xcancel, and realized it’s cutting off their profit stream (doesn’t matter by how little), and it pissed them off, starting the command flow;
or maybe they have a dedicated team to ensure they can farm the most resources/data out of the user base without alternatives, like implementing the ~“X might not work with Advanced Privacy settings on Firefox. Disable it for a better experience” which I’d get all the time if I ever had to visit the main X website. Maybe that’s the same team who spearheaded this new move.
Sucks. X has enough money. But for all this about “free speech”, and posting porn, and all is free on X, they sure aren’t going that way.
I suppose that might work…
