It’s mostly the tobacco causing health issues, not the wonderfully addictive nicotine. But yeah, it’s a good thing that flavored cigarettes are banned.

Though it seems like big tobacco found a loophole on the first day, as you can still get menthol cigarettes in EU… it’s just not as strongly minted as it was prior to the ban.

My microwave is the other way around, the door can always be opened. And if you have the timer set, it will stay lit up and spinning, even with the door open.

So OP’s method wouldn’t work for me. I got scared the first time, but I think the magnetron turns off when the door is opened… but I haven’t tried testing that theory.

I went all to AV1 last year. Enough stuff supports it, and realtime transcoding on a (relatively cheap) Arc GPU works well enough.

AV1 is superior enough for both size and visual fidelity, that it’s worth the slightly extra encoding time. But absolutely not if you don’t have HW encoding.

What exactly is a stick pen? An image search shows one of those pens with a removable cap?

I’ve tried those before, but the caps always end up disappearing on me, and it felt quite “cheap” quality (BIC Cristal for example)… but maybe there’s some better brands?
