Wishing I wasn’t staunch doesn’t sound very staunch to me…
But you answer your question, yes, I’m resolute in my convictions. I don’t have many of them but the ones I have are worth defending.
Thankfully, no.
Work Refirm, Folk Punk, Gardening, Stupid Questions, Chicago, Bicycling, Dad Jokes, all of these have active communities
As income, it’s poor. As rent, it’s high-to-average depending where you live and how many roommates. As food budget, very high. As disposable income, very very high.
To spend on an Internet sugar baby? Huge amount.

I’d rather a feed that updates twice a day but everything is on-topic and worthwhile than one where I have to sift through reposts and screenshots to find those two worthwhile posts.
I tend to mentally assign my coworkers into three categories: Sharks, Soldiers, and Mercenaries.
Sharks are out for themselves and their money and will do whatever they think they can get away with to get more.
Soldiers are just there to put their head down and work. They won’t do anything extra to get ahead, they just want to make their money and go home.
Mercenaries are the least predictable. They work when they feel like it and will generally seize easy money but won’t hustle for it. They don’t plan and they don’t prep more than they must.
These all take different strategies to get along with as coworkers; I’m enough of a Shark myself to be wise to their tricks and set firm boundaries so they cross someone else’s lines instead of mine. You gotta be friendly with the Soldiers because they are the ones who keep the wheels spinning, but keep some distance as well so you don’t upset their work / life balance. Mercenaries you keep on a leash; you distract them when you need something but tug the chain when they’re trying to be sneaky.

My Verbatim brand one has been working great for… well, at least a decade at this point. Plug and play. It does need two USB ports, though.

In this case, it really is just because Americans are prudes.

Step 1 is make sure that doesn’t happen to you.

If you want right-wing academics, look at Economics (eg. Milton Friedman School), Classics, History, and CS. Not that any of those fields are dominated by the right, but there are pockets of them in those fields still.

I live somewhere with open primaries. I’ve never registered with any party.

They want to annex Nepal. So they decry things that make Nepal more independent. But giving aid makes Nepal more dependant on China, not less.

I’ve only been jamming Anna’s for a year or so (before that I was using libgen), but I’ve been using Vimm’s since the previous millennium.

I’m a devout Christian.
I think most people assume that if you’re not loudmouthed about it, it must not be important to you. Others have just had so many negative experiences with Christianity. I have complicated feelings about that.
The Anna Taylor Joy Emma I though was great, and the soundtrack is amazing, but my wife only likes the soundtrack and not the movie.
