I had a job before this one I was let go but essentially quiet quit. It was a private company running a government program that helps poor youth get skills for a job. I basically held 5 positions of work and was paid for one of them, and was working for a company that manages private prisons I later discovered. I gave up, they needed someone half my age with the same experience to do the job because I couldn’t keep up with it. I was quietly let go during my probationary period and I’m glad for it.
Some people notice the taste of alcohol a lot more, and when you’re younger it’s also the case of it being more distinct. I’ll say as someone who does like to drink their alcohol, if you don’t like it, please don’t force yourself into it. If anything you may be able to serve as the DD for friends who like to have a few drinks while out.

Good, the majority of churches have changed from social gatherings to political rallies, especially in smaller communities. Rural America is going to die out with the baby boomers and they have no one to blame but themselves for constantly electing these old assholes.

It has beans, but a good diet is more than beans. They rarely have fresh produce outside of onions, peppers, and potatoes. Leafy greens and such usually are half way wilted already. It’s nice being entirely land locked.
I’ve considered it but live in a food dessert so options are pretty limited. Unless I want to make an hour round trip for good groceries.
