eh not really much background, I just saw the q3 announcer xitter account and of course after moving from id sofware is an grifter ai bro trying to say old games were good because there wasn’t “wokism”, a shame because his voice is quite one of the best announcers of an arena shooter, guess gotta mod quake champions one instead

I’ve though about making my own arena shooter with blackjack and queer furries but seeing the little success of Reflex Arena and Diabotical kinda is too ambitious fot my own good

Team Fortress 2 comes close to that if you can ignore cosmetics. The gameplay still holds up today and its also fun to just join the Jump Academy and do some rocket jumping.
