Not only is the shape wrong, it’s pointed the wrong way. The lit part always points at the sun. Based on the light at the horizon and the cloud lighting, the sun is straight ahead. The moon is lit as if it is way off to the left.
Lunar eclipse tomorrow morning, about 0500 UCT
I take pictures of the full moon every month. I have an S24 Galaxy Ultra that has 100x zoom and I’ve got almost 2K pictures of just full moons. Plan on going out tonight as well to capture some more 🌕🌕🌕

Same, but S22 ultra. The cameras on them are so good.
We have Google Pixel 6 Pro now. Husband and I switched to those to use Graphene OS. But I still have the S24 exclusively just for the camera because you can’t get anything better than that in a phone camera. Everyone is too busy loving Apple to realize they don’t even have 15x zoom, when Samsung has 100x zoom all day.
Why only every month? I think it’s unbelievable every day.
