      I get that they were tired/injured, but no longer in danger and no reason to ignore an important tradition.

        Maybe they didn’t want Stovokor to mistakenly let the albino in or something. It would be interesting if that’s an actual consideration that Klingons need to be aware of, like “Quick! We need to roar for the fallen!” “Wait! This guy over here died like a cowardly petaQ!” “Shit, let’s drag his body away from the others!
