Not only are they not smart enough to avoid it, they find it tasty. They also won’t vomit it up. Raw celery makes their skin highly sensitive to sunlight and causes them to get badly sunburnt easily, allowing blisters and open sores. Lighter skinned pigs are at even more risk for the lack of melanin.
