Hundreds of Lindsay Clancy supporters, many wearing pink clothing emblazoned with phrases such as “Believe,” “She Needed Help” and “Peace For Lindsay,” gathered Thursday outside the courthouse where she is on trial in the killings of her three children.
Several of the 300 women, and a few men, said Clancy’s story resonated with them and that they wanted to raise awareness about how the mental health system treats women. Clancy’s lawyer does not dispute that she killed the children, but says she should not be held criminally responsible because she was mentally ill.

Spoken by someone who has no idea what I am talking about… but great job making my point.

I’ll take care of that in a couple of minutes…
Six hours later…
Shit.
F’real tho what does help (for me) is daily pill organizers and keeping routine. Granted sometimes routine gets broke…I’m glad I’m not on any life-or-death meds, for sure.
But I’ve got an AM/PM weekly pill organizer. I take a set of meds in the morning and then I take tylenol and another med pro re nata. The PM slots keep two doses of tyelnol and the other med, to make sure I don’t accidentally overdose (did I take a tylenol earlier?). The organizer stays at my desk where I have breakfast everyday.
I take an oral GLP-1 which stays in my nightstand and I always bring a bottle of water with me to bed to make sure I have it as soon as I wak up in the morning (oral GLP-1’s should be taken on an empty stomach, < 4oz water, and at least half an hour before food or any other med). I haven’t missed a day yet (though I do have quite a collection of water bottles on my nightstand…).
I’m switching to a compounded semaglutide in a few weeks tho, and that’s weekly and I hate needles…so we’ll see how that pans out.
