First thing I thought man, jesus that would be a relief.
But think about it, you get to be THE GUY the whole colony knows and respects for what he does. Like another ant is with a bug friend at a party and sees you and says “yeah that guy? He’s a door. He’s a good door, pretty chill.” And that’s it your the chill door dude.
Unless I somehow manage to fuckup being a door…
I mean at least with an ant colony, if you fuck up being a door they’ll just kill you instead of letting you live with the embarrassment.
