IRC is great. The challenge is picking a client for the family, and getting them set up. It’s not friction free.

Jitsi is good as an ad hoc communication tool, but it won’t replace a “chat / sms” tool. I took a small peek at SimpleX, and it looks quite complex. Not sure if it really is.

OVMS + a model that was built for it is far more responsive than llamacpp.

You can run an LLM, but it will be limited. Look into Open Vino Model Server.

I’d recommend a minimal install distro (Ubuntu server, Arch, Gentoo, etc…), then add the things you need from there.

Same thought I had, but it seems for now it’s not going to be a part of a standard urinalysis.

Instead, if there are other symptoms that indicate potential for cancer, this would be used prior to cystoscopy to determine the urgency for a cystoscopy.

I assume using this as part of a standard urinalysis might be cost prohibitive.

I lost my bladder to bladder cancer. The way the symptoms and diagnosis went, this test would not have improved my outcome.

I’m pretty sure it will be beneficial for others, though I’m not clear if it will be a part of standard urinalysis. If not, other symptoms will have to prompt this test.

Reading through more clearly; this would help to determine how critical it is to have a camera up the pisser (cystoscopy).

I suspect these companies are going to want to re-hire some percentage of the workforce they’ve laid off.

Is there a company / group out there that connects developers to companies that have an emergency need for them?
