We used to have that adage about how anonymity made people worse on the internet

Many of us have been saying that’s untrue ever since people started claiming it was real.

All you need to do is go to Facebook to see people being horrible under their own names.

Ah, so nails are a precious commodity, and you should try to make sure you have as many as you can.

I think it’s pretty clear that if you take all the nails out of a fence it will fall down.

The other thing, that’s even harder to do, is to admit you’re wrong about stuff right now, and you’ll regret it in the future.

It’s easy to look back at your past self and admit that that guy made some bone-headed mistakes. But, the chances are very good that right now you strongly believe some things that will be just as wrong as those other beliefs your past self had.

Why does that make you laugh out loud?

So, the moral of the story is that if you’re too kind and friendly your fence will fall apart.
