That is the laziest auth method I’ve seen. At least it’s encrypted in transit though. I’ll take that over the SMS, not-really-2fa crap that US banks refuse to give up though.

It won’t matter, asylum visas are getting canceled anyway.
That’s where we’re being dragged to. GeForceNOW and the Windows App are already a thing. Apple is pushing hardware subscriptions/leasing and will probably start their own remote service. Hardware prices likely won’t come back to previous levels so those options will start to look more appealing, lowering demand for parts and raising demand for the subscriptions. From there it spirals until owning your own PC will no longer be possible, maybe even illegal if age verification and other surveillance garbage keeps getting forced on us.

The banks have to offer it as an option though. A lot don’t and opt instead for the least secure way to do it.
