  • The closer you get to 50, the less it will feel or sound like a long life.

Health problems starting to become more frequent is not the same as becoming suddenly and incurably frail and ill. I know multiple people who are much healthier at fifty than at thirty, because they found the drive and ability/access to take care of their health.

So many things can be better at fifty than at twenty or thirty. Why would you not want to live through those good years after struggling to get there? And even if it’s not better, it’s still good.

You can still learn to skateboard, just wear more protective gear and take some ibuprofen the next day. Doesn’t mean skateboarding isn’t fun or worth trying, or life not worth living.

You can still see friends and family, just have two beers instead of ten, or talk shit about your boss instead of your teacher, or go to a movie matinee instead of midnight showing. It’s still fun and worth spending time with your loved ones, and life is still worth living.

  • One piece of advice would be: Don’t ask for help if you’re never going to accept it. Don’t ask for advice unless you’re prepared to listen.

People will not want to keep helping or advising you when they see that their help and advice is being ignored over and over. People want to help, but not if you are choosing to stay in trouble rather than accept the help offered.

Enough people have told you that you’re not in the emotional or financial state to do trading, and have given you alternatives for investment suitable for your age, ability, and budget.

When will you listen to the advice you’re asking for?
