That makes sense. I think context makes a big difference too. If someone recommends a specific video during a discussion I’m already interested in, I’m much more likely to watch it

I usually prefer text. It’s much easier to skim and decide quickly whether the topic is worth my time. I’ll watch a video if the topic really catches my attention.

Yeah, I think that’s what makes the Mona Lisa interesting. The painting itself is obviously important, but the story around it especially the theft completely changed how people viewed it. Without that history, I wonder if it would have the same level of fame today
