20 days agoClicking the start menu now results in literally 20 seconds of nothing until the apps appear. Even typing “excel” does nothing for about the same time. It is hot garbage.
The computer that lags like this is an HP Elitebook 645 running Win 11 Enterprise. It has a Ryzen AMD 7 Pro 7730 with 16GB RAM. My drive is a 512GB WD SN740 SSD NVMe. It’s not cutting edge, but it’s fair to expect the OS to perform pretty seamlessly.
