    A lot of folks just make their money because the line goes up, then instead of spending that money they borrow more using their old money (stocks) as collateral. So long as the line goes up those people have basically a continuing stream of income and credit.

    Whenever it stops going up long enough for them to care they will start to introduce their version of UBI which will probably be something like Mr Lee’s KongBucks because every single one of these fuckers seems to have gotten the exact wrong message out of the novel Snow Crash.

    Well at least in theory you are upset about this for the right reasons, if you actually care about animal welfare then i guess keep pressing the issue if you think the dog is in serious danger. I’ve seen the claim debunked, I’ve seen him show the collar. Maybe i’m a sucker for giving Hassan the benefit of the doubt but I’d expect if it was true there would be at least one person who knows him personally willing to come out and expose the lie and that has not happened.

    Occam’s razor whats more likely? That a leftist activist who supports all the things Hassan does publicly and openly debates socialist ideals and other such things just happens to have this one really weird and cruel belief that shock collars are a good idea, but not so much so that he could defend the use publicly? Or its a coincidence that groups in heavy opposition Hassan felt they could latch on to to discredit him?

    I ask you, if this same situation occured, but instead of Hasan, it was h3h3, or XQC, or any other streamer you think is a shithead. What would you think then?

    I don’t even know who those other 2 are, I Don’t watch Hassan as a streamer i watch what he does as a political activist and I like what I see and want him to continue, if in some crazy twist he came out and admitted it, I’d probably be forgiving so long as he did something like contrinuting donations to animal welfare causes, but i just don’t find the claim at all believable, and i find the explanations provided by Hassan (and others who have seen the dog/collar) to be entirely believable and credible.

    So i dunno maybe i’m just naive but it really seems like a targeted attack to spread distrust against one of the lefts most powerful and well spoken activists.

    Remember when Al Franken got “me too’d” for a consensual picture that was taken as a joke? This seems a lot like that. Like its basically the capitalists playbook to keep socialists out of power take something you know they value, spin it out of context enough to beg questions and then start to cause infighting to the effect of discrediting the person so that the real issues get drowned out by the non-sense that has nothing to do with politics even if it was true (which i fully believe its not true).
