So I went in again, but streaming it from Luna on a steam deck makes it very claustrophobic in dark areas, I can’t see anything. I upped the gamma quite a bit, then ended up also making the character immortal, then invincible, then activated unlimited ammo and batteries to boot. Does it feel like cheating? Yes. Do I enjoy it more because I can just make the most of the story and puzzles without spiking my adrenaline levels just before bed? Also yes.

Alright, I actually accidentally got locked-in in a year-long amazon prime subscription, I’ll make the most of it and stream it through Luna. Thanks for the recommendation!

I was just mad at the detective in the beginning. “Oh, a supernatural unkillable, murderous monster went to the swamp? Let me go towards it in the woods, alone, at night.”

I loved the world-building. Craving more of it, I tried Alan Wake 2, but it’s a little too scary for my tastes 😬
