It’s low hanging fruit and there’s already a bunch of chuds talking about historical accuracies of the cast, so it’s unlikely going to produce much meaningful discourse.
(Writing and horses were more important than bronze anyway. I think some BritDane just came up with the metal ages to begin with, and they aren’t used with the Americas.)
The power broker that’s missing from the equation is the United States.
We’re willing to milk war to maximize business interests and returns, and this is no exception. Decisive victories and diplomacy alike run counter to that goal.
Currently getting trounced by Iran however is suggesting there is little actual power to broker anymore, outside of classic nuclear holocaust.
