Hah, I can’t look at this without remembering that one vine:

“Where my dogs at?”

Fun fact: the guy who portrayed the native guy in those ads, Iron Eyes Cody, was Sicilian.

Try again

No way. If RoboCop or Cyberpunk is anything to go off of, trusting a company to supply parts for your own body is not a good idea.

Besides, I’ve always liked my equipment in stock form, to really appreciate it for what it is at its core.

Treasure Master on the NES has a track at the title screen that’s best described as a funky fresh beat

Hah, it made me more careful around cats, for sure. I blame tortitude and litterboxes for the reasons why I prefer dogs.

Tales from the Darkside, specifically the Cat from Hell sketch. It’s where a black cat slashes a guy pretty badly before literally diving into him. I left the room after that.

I didn’t revisit that scene until I was an adult, and let’s just say that kid me had good instincts, since the scene afterwards showed the cat literally burrowing through the guy before popping out of his mouth.

Why did it have to be an Altima?

Eat 'em and smile

Maybe this is subjective, but rock concerts. Having bright lights, pyro, lasers and other theatrics contrasted against a dark sky is an experience that must be seen to be believed.

Yes it is. Not as cheap as before (~$1.49 last I checked), but it’s still a good buy if one decides to eat out. Fast food’s profit margins on drinks are notorious, after all.

Any soft drink that’s not Arizona iced tea.

This is the way

Not much better in the states. A can of cheap coffee (~686g) now costs about $13 here, and the better stuff can ring up at $20 or more at the same size.

Just over a year before that, the cheap stuff was half the price (!)

Outside of eBay, I do alright with my local thrift stores and the occasional garage sale. It’s how I got an LCD tv from 2009 and an aerial antenna that gets most local stations with decent quality. I’ll probably look for a more powerful aerial, since it looks like it’s from the late '90s and doesn’t quite do the job for some of the movie channels that are available.

• Twisted Metal Black

• Tekken Tag Tournament 2

• Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

• Alien Hominid HD

• Gauntlet

All’s this to say, I’m addicted to action, and these games satisfy my sweet tooth for it better than most.

Gotta find a distraction somewhere, don’t they? Can’t have those… peasants realize how badly they’re getting fucked, and that actually coming together is a serious challenge to their hold on power
