My exercise clothes come out the wash as fresh as a daisy, and they have been through a lot and get washed at 30C.

Surely that depends on which alcohol you drink and where you buy your weed?

My mom used to give me extra pocket money if I helped around the house beyond my usual tasks, so things like ironing or washing the windows/car. After that I started a newspaper round at 13.
Imagine being a cyclist having to share space with 50kph faster, 2 ton machines. The chances to be hit are quite high and the chances of being hurt near 100%.
A vehicular cyclist is a cyclist riding as if they were a car, so in the middle of the lane etc. It’s the adviced way of cycling when there is no proper infrastructure, as sticking to the side makes you less visible and more likely to be dangerously overtaken. It depends on the context of the road whether it is the best way, but I would not call them the problem, just a bad solution to a problem that should be solved by infrastructure.

There is a distinct difference in food science between processed food (anything that has been cut, or undergone any kind of process) and ultra-processed food (made of many different ingredients, many of which cannot be found in an ordinary kitchen, and undergone multiple processes). While the term is not perfect, it is still useful when talking in general terms.

I think before modern plumbing it was quite normal for more people sharing a bath one after the other, or going to large bath houses. The house I grew up in from the early 1900s didn’t have a bathroom and people would handwash and occasionally fill a bath in the kitchen. (We had a shower built in, but it was obviously not part of the original design)
I get nauseous just looking at these utensils, anyone else around with weird-fork fobia?
