Owning in this context is such a relative term, I don’t technically own my physical games still I can play it forever during my lifetime because nobody can stop me in reproduce datas on it: physical is important for this reason (excluding dumb editions with partial game on it, thanks to doesitplay.org for the info about that); digital rights are obviously needed but most of the commenters seems to ignore this argument.

I never judge from trailers but I don’t think they will release a demo: it looks good but also the same GTA stuff, I was hoping for something more audacious and instead it seems innocuous at a narrative level. Maybe the first boring GTA? I think it will sell very good since it targets normies for the most but I’m very curious to read the critique when playtested.

I understand your point on collections and I’m an entropy guy too but I also appreciate a good collection of art for personal use during my lifetime, without compromises on quality/aviability, and maybe to left to someone in the future who will enjoy it after me. I’m kinda a minimalist for many things but not for art.

I buy physical discs for the stuff I really care, Steam for digital-only games, streaming and piracy for everything else.
