I’ve had some websites where I’ve had to go through like 12 of these. Took me about 5 minutes just to access the site it was ridiculous.
It’s also why so many incompetant people have such important jobs, because people voting don’t take the time to vet them properly since there are so many positions to vote on no one can possibly do their due diligence for them all.
The videogame industry specifically is a bit unique I think I’m that most of the time the majority of the artists just get laid off after a large project gets released so there really isn’t any job stability, chance of bonuses, loyalty, etc.
I would never pirate an Indy game but Ubisoft, EA, rockstar, fuck em.
The artist still got paid for their work. They don’t get a bonus if more copies are sold. The only one not getting money is Ubisoft corporate executives and shareholders.
America complains about Canadians paying more taxes but I guarantee you I have never paid $10k a year in taxes that would just go towards our free healthcare.
And then a good portion end up getting sick and dying earlier than they need to because of the stupid healthcare system America has. Also preventative treatment is a lot less expensive than treating something after it develops. But corporate America can’t make money off of doctors preventing illness or fixing things before it requires expensive surgery or medications.
Yeah I wish I waited. I loved it in early access and spent hundreds of hours on it. But I’m one the those people who have a hard time replaying things. I quit before a lot of the later releases and now it would feel like a chore to start over and play through long enough to see the final additions and end game content.
I don’t understand people who don’t use credit cards that way. Why would you spend money that you do not have only to end up spending more later on?
I mean, I can see it if you’re broke and lost your job and need to eat so you stretch it as long as you can but that’s not someone in a situation that should be using it to buy video games.

Everyone makes mistakes. Firing someone for making one is how you end up with a system full of judges with no more than 5-10 years experience and making more mistakes because you start to run out of qualified people and need to start picking at the bottom of the barrel when looking to fill the vacant seats that need to be constantly replaced.

I think his obsession with renaming things is so he can have his “legacy” where people a hundred years from now will read in school how the gulf of america used to be called gulf of Mexico until Donald J Trump renamed it.
This way he can do it immediately and without any approvals or permissions from anyone else and it doesn’t cost a dime (upfront that he needs permission for, it still costs millions to remake maps and public education posters/billboards and school textbooks and government websites, etc.)

Canada’s inflation rate has been fairly low/regular the past two years bouncing between 1.6-2.6% with the exception of after the Iran war started and it bounced up to 3.2 and now hovers between 2-3%
