So I don’t just wake up as Kane, but as him as we’re landing on Stroggos and have to go through that whole ordeal haha. Kinda fucked then. I also wonder how I’ll be able to find love looking like that.

Quake 4, so I’m Corporal Matthew Kane. Hopefully, post stroggification? Half human, half machine.

80-20 rule still holds true, huh?
I like to think of it this way:
- wired communications: derivative of telegraph
- wireless communications: derivative of radio
Not exactly, but you get my point. Its not so different, just different standards using the same principles.
Analog to digital has been the biggest change I’ve noticed honestly - but still the same coax that brought me cartoons in the 90’s (analog) carries my internet today (digital).

If you’re in the position to do so: try getting a job as a software developer for a year before going to college. If you’re able to demonstrate you’ve already worked on your own projects, you will be taken more seriously than cs majors fresh out of college who’ve only seen code in home work assignments. Do this to get to see how software development works as a career and see if you fit in it.
You don’t generally need a degree to be a programmer and in this field, experience is often more valuable than a degree. What college can offer is connections and the opportunity to find your actual calling.

I dont particularly like Razer, but if there’s anything they do well, its marketing. They’re right… if they’re able to sell a key cap for 90 bucks, their marketing must have been so good in the past they created a literal materialistic cult.
This obviously isn’t for me, its for their cult members. I hope one day, they can exit the public peripheral market and sell exclusively to their cult members at 1000% markup.
Very ascetic of you.
