I’m dissatisfied that there isn’t a course of action for consumers to recycle or dispose of batteries at their end of use. As I discussed with someone else, I can appreciate that it is a step towards something better, and that is something, but it seems like it will take ongoing catastrophes in waste management to highlight that there needs to be a solution for what someone does with the battery at the end. This needs to be considered.

These are great ideas!

Exactly. I do appreciate that this will help reduce some waste, but without addressing the actual problem of recycling those batteries, lessening the impact isn’t getting us very far.
I agree with you that this is a start, and that’s something, but it’s missing the point. Perhaps ongoing issues with batteries in landfills will indicate that more needs to be done.

You change the system because you know that eating whales is wrong. You don’t just hack off the fins and call it a win.

Could you clarify what you’re not understanding?
I know I’m only repeating myself but: It lessens the problem, but it doesn’t solve anything. There will still be batteries from these devices thrown in the trash (many of them,) and there’s no infrastructure to actually recycle or dispose of these things.

Why are people shadenfreuding as though every single Cuban American is a trump supporter? Even if a majority does, are you only worried about those that don’t? Are you even worried about them at all? Just seems like so many people have become what they hate.

Excludes cannabis products and requires both refillable and rechargeable vapes. I get that this lessens the amount going into a landfill, but it doesn’t solve any problem. As long as disposable batteries are on the market, where is the infrastructure to safely recycle or dispose of those batteries?

I feel bad for you. You don’t know the kindness, acceptance, and encouragement that Dolly spread widely. On top of that, you’re using money as a measurement of a person while completely ignorant of her contributions both financially and not. The more you learn about Dolly, the more you’ll love her. Guaranteed.

Loved the physical keyboard. I could write out entire paragraphs without looking at the screen. I think I replaced that keyboard two or three times before I finally retired it.

As a kid with three siblings, it was always a big deal when one kid ate all the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms. At some point, Mom started buying Marshmallow Mateys. Came in a big bag instead of a box at a fraction of the price. I noticed then that the charm to lucky ratio was a lot higher. Many more marshmallows.

I took a concealed carry course but realized the liability for shooting someone was pretty big. If I decide to carry, I intend to take multiple proficiency courses. I think that should be required.
