I feel like you’re describing the people who are crazy about AI right now.
Somehow you consider even a little pushback crazy but won’t listen to people when they ask you not to jump into AI madness headfirst wearing blinders?
I think you’re trying to solve a NP Complete problem (Boolean Satisfiability) via brute force. It’s expected you will hit this wall. Try to use heuristics/guess work.
if the US can enter the middle east at their own will and bomb the civilians there then yes those same people should be allowed to enter the US for free. You want powers but not the consequences?
It’s not just “woke”. DHH actively longs for the London of old with less brown people. Which is a bit tone deaf when you don’t understand that white people meddling in the middle east and africa are reasons why said brown people came as refugees on boats to Europe.
Allowing only raw resources to flow from these regions but putting up a wall for people is un-just.
Modern society is built on destruction and cruelty. Doesn’t mean I can advice somebody to give up living in society and sound smart.
To suggest that “compromising on ideals for practicality” is the same as “roll-over and accept it” is dishonest and only done by people who want to win the argument by attrition so they get what they want.
