Yeah, I’m mostly answer the “how do you start” portion more so than the “how do you stay motivated” part, which is what you’re referring to I think

Follow the dopamine. Go on a Wikipedia binge and don’t feel bad about it because at least it’s better than TikTok. Watch educational YouTube videos, and when you get 10 seconds into it and think “this guys an idiot” you just keep making fun of him and fact-checking stuff.
First, get a surface level understanding so that you know enough about it to actually do proper research. If it really really piques my interest, the rest of the path will form naturally

Actually in the identity matrix only the prime diagonal is 1s, so you’re more zeroes than you might think
I had a conversation with my partner recently where we agreed “if you’re kid isn’t smarter than you by the time their 15, you’ve fucked up”
15 is a bit exaggerated obviously, but before they leave your home, they should know everything you know + everything else they’ve learned
