I worked with a girl many years ago who was about 22 years old at the time. We worked a job where employees come and go all the time. She did not look very youthful, but she was very self aware. One of her favorite things to do was ask new hires how old they thought she was. Most people guessed late 30s to mid 40s and were mortified when she told then she was in her early 20s, but she always got a kick out of it.

I had a similar thing happen. When I was a teenager I went with my girlfriend at the time and her family to her grandparent’s house for dinner.
