Yes. But only if they believe God will judge them for it, and aren’t completely poop eating crazy (as in, murdering whilst cutting themselves because “pain is good” or whatever, not just a sociopath but actually mentally broken).
Christianity/Trinitarian beliefs have the whole “anti-imperialist rabbi Jesus of Nazareth was captured, tortured and killed by the Roman empire, the creators of Trinitarianism, who then established a whole manworshipping polytheistic religion around him, God (the Father/Creator Jesus refers to and prays to often) and the Holy Spirit, and if you believe in this creed your sins are absolved and you’re saved regardless” so it does not work. And ofc people will find “scholars” and act stupid to allow themselves to act however they want in both Judaism (weird Talmudist/non-Mosaic beliefs, for instance) and Islam (eg Hadiths=>Qur’an confused fools), but that basis is not even there in Christianity.
Don’t ever be surprised by all the misery European “men of God” have inflicted in the world countless times (from the days of Rome to the new Satan, America, which even name-drops God on their money, lol, many of those will burn), as it was a Frankenstein pseudoreligion meant to poison the well. If Christians believed like Jesus instead of in Jesus, whatever the fuck that means, everything from the Crusades to the East India Company, from America to Israel (Western settler colonies), would’ve never taken place since they require entire cultures to be behind them. But since they believe they’ll be “saved” regardless, they can act like demons and rationalize their immorality and lack of humanity. But don’t ever worry, for God will give everyone what they deserve. 😉

The people who are “animals over humans!!!” or equate them don’t love nor care for anybody besides themselves in earnest. They’ll stay in their little corner with their pets, shaking in fear just thinking about deep human connections until the day they die. 🤷♂️
They might just be more human friendly 🤷♂️. The atheist Western person often loves animals because they’re afraid of people (which turns into hatred after some years of propaganda and loneliness), can’t form or maintain proper relationships for a number of reasons (trauma, ideology that thinks men are wolves to their fellow man) and, sometimes, it’s because they can’t control people the way they can control animals.
This reminds me of that one line “I can tolerate racism but I won’t stand for animal abuse” or something like that by the blonde girl in Community, lol.
Ps: I have a big chubby cat called Jezebel that’s as pampered as a young princess, and I still understand that’s just an animal. If I had to decide on saving the lives of either a random person or my cat, I would save the random person with no hesitation. Who wouldn’t do the same besides thoroughly confused people?

I “understand” Ed Sheeran’s position the same way I “understand” Bibi going extra hard and murdering even more aggressively to remain in power without too much inconvenience, or a thief murdering someone for their phone, or a rapist overpowering a child… amoral beings do monstrous things for their own convenience, that’s nothing new. Much of the world, despite actual misery and pain (like being bombed for the 80th time this year by the Big Satan, which is Somalia’s case), still prioritises family and childrearing.
Many people in the West ARE fucking (more than enough to breed at least), they just do the utmost to prevent/“fix” pregnancies when they do, and why wouldn’t they? They have no hope for the future (where can the faithless source hope from?) even if they have done nothing but profit from imperialism and they have the most materially comfortable existence ever because of it, they don’t know how to connect to people and don’t value it either (because at the end of the day, people are burdensome, and building and maintaining relationships demands at least a bit of selflessness which might just be too much/“people are evil and scary so I’m just gonna get a bunch of pets, they can never hurt my feelings nor do they have enough agency to leave me or go too much against my wishes”), and ultimately they simply don’t want to cause life is just too fun and having children and raising them properly are responsibilities that are incompatible with the unfettered hedonism and consumerism they want from life.
Diaspora Indians are, somehow, white Europeans. Also, some confused Latinos. They’ll learn eventually that Western imperialism cannot be separated from white supremacy, requiring the dehumanisation of others as a foundation, and they’ll be a main target sooner or later before white infighting takes place (“are Italians even white???”/“fucking Krauts!”)
“Cultural appropriation” as in idk claiming something that had been taking place forever halfway around the world because it’s cool, elevated or positive in any way is certainly malicious (profiting from it without even the acknowledgement of it also fits here). If it’s just eating tapas while visiting Valencia and saying “moochass grassyass”, or celebrating a holiday that’s not from the culture you’re from and dressing up because everyone from that culture is, then no. At most, it’s tone deaf, ignorant or a bit cringy, but there’s no malice behind it so we gotta let it slide and see it for what it is: people wanting to share in with other people’s experiences. 🤷♂️
And there’s a lot to hate in the way people behave, but we gotta be cautious about overdoing it.
