  • Edgarianny and Freddys said that they followed the proper instructions and were told they were approved for self-deportation by the government. “On July 6, we went to our ICE check-in appointment as instructed,” the letter said. “We believed we were going there to finalize our travel home. Instead, after we signed all the forms waiving all our rights, we were arrested. “We were immediately taken into custody and transferred to Dilley. Since then, we have done everything we can to make clear that we want to return home. We withdrew our immigration appeal, waived our rights, and asked to return voluntarily. We were even told that we had been placed on a list for a flight home. Then we were taken off the list.”

I used to think the right choice for “justice” for the…perpetrators behind this, was an expeditious trial. With an equally expeditious carrying out of sentencing.

    I think I was wrong.

If and when, if and when. Care should be taken to ensure they all get promises of leniency, good treatment, and safety. That the signing of their plea deals will make their life uncertain, but otherwise okay, just be patient. Then a good and torturous shuffling through the same facilities they used and then without warning, the wall out back.

    Yeah.

  • Being utterly unfamiliar with this case up until my rushed reading of 10 mins ago, and operating under the assumption that everything you’ve said is 100% factual reporting:

    Holy. Fucking. Shit.

What!? That isn’t smoke pointing to a fire, it’s a goddamn molten slag cast in the shape of a man gleefully setting fire to a previous life as he dances over to a new fire pit.

That shit is too on the nose that I fully expect the true crime drama episode in 10 years about husband’s exploits to come with a warning about the gullibility of the system and technology.

Just enough digital trail to “absolve” him, conveniently, but only if you pick and choose where and when to accept the trail is on his side?

This is absolutely looking like the classic “sociopathic piece of skin husband has idealized mental picture of life shattered by difficult reality and decides to dispense with his ‘property’ before moving on” murder pattern.

  • Depends, imo.

Are we factoring in the clownish refunds that are being prepped to go out to ‘reimburse’ landlords for the COVID pandemic moratoriums, which are both absolutely going to end up mostly in the pockets of corporate landlords and for which I also predict another batch of stupid application processes a la PPP processing style? And the precedent they would set?

Different answers between reality being allowed to unfurl as logic and nature dictates and the manufactured fuckery we get to experience.

  • That wouldn’t detonate a claymore.

The more I look at the image, the more terrifyingly genius it becomes.

The laser tripwires in video games are a visual stand-in for good ol’ boring metal tripwires which a claymore can actually use. The tripwire moving around it’s housing changes the circuit state inside the electric blasting cap and off comes the wall of deadly balls.

But you don’t need to tripwire. You can remote detonate.

Or for the purposes of the meme, Alexa can time when to detonate. Just needs a little camera to see when and wire leads into the claymore’s blasting cap to deliver the electric triggering…

    This isn’t a meme. It’s theory…

Does anyone know an old appliance salesman who used to sell other things back in old country? Asking for a friend.

  • They, could do all of those things, in theory.

In the fantasy land where they’re as capable as their fascist tools, and the tools themselves are as good as they advertise.

There are already dozens to hundreds of people getting away with the destruction of Flock cameras. They literally ask for public tips to solve them.

Have you read the research on the actual impact of all this bullshit on crime rate solving?

    The panopticon is not finished.

Until it is, large swaths of your comment might as well be fiction, because until it’s trivial to “justify as much resources to hunt them down as what Luigi did” for the average use, they literally can barely find their ass with them.
