I mean in his defense he literally was just an actor (for the most part). He was chosen to fill a role.
I don’t say that in defense of Reagan’s presidency, but if it wasn’t him, it literally would have been somebody else. I think we can see the same in Trump.
Oligarchs don’t name themselves king for a reason (with the exception of Bush Sr. and he failed to get reelected). His kid did slightly better, but almost his entire presidency was him just doing what his dad’s friends told him to do.
They also don’t like to pick people who might fall out of line. Like the fact that Milton Friedman called fucking Nixon a “socialist,” and the fact that the end of Nixon marked the beginning of Heritage Foundation, really says a lot.
They wanted total control, and to do that they needed to find somebody who could look into the camera and say his lines without giving it a second thought.

Saints Row 2 was one of my favorite games mainly because you had the option of picking people up and throwing them to fight.
I made my character a giant, and I’m pretty sure I played through ~75% of the game without ever needing to use a weapon because I could just pick everybody up and take them out with one or 2 throws. I also remember giving her the derpy face option.

In guessing plan B. If California can use this democrat friendly slanted map then every other state can use whatever conservative slanted maps they draw up.
“Authoritarian states are using AI for surveillance, repression and influence operations today,” Klein said. “It’s no longer hypothetical.”
omg! who could have possibly seen this coming??
good thing the US isn’t on this official list of spying governments made by a contractor of the U.S. government.
our government would never spy on its citizens…
