The other day I was listening to a podcast about money and cars, and I could not believe the “maths” some owners of pavement princesses were doing, to justify owning such a POS.
Like, ‘the truck will allow me to get another job and do some deliveries on the side to pay for the gas and the truck; this thing will practically make me money’.
So I bet some of them have already spent that money on credit and are now waiting for Trump’s cheque to repay it.
I can confirm this is 100% true most of the people I work around are hard-core Trump supporters and they are over the moon ecstatic for these $5000 dollar checks. A couple of people have gone out and put down payments on new diesel trucks that only get 8 to 9 miles to the gallon.
Lol that equals about 26-29 liters per 100km. Jeez, do such inefficient vehicles really exist?

I kinda wanna listen to the podcast, but at tge same time i would probably throw my phone into the ocean. I listen to a podcast where someone doordashes to make money. The math makes no sense to me. The money thwy make without tipps seems to always be close to 0, if you fator in how much running a car costs (gas, insurance, wear, tires)
as if doing deliveries on the side would even break even!
Let’s use one of the least fuel efficient vehicles to make deliveries…hmm.
