Micron has their 250TB with 16GB RAM cache priced at $100k according to the other article at the bottom. I was going to guess 200k then. Who knows. But if they can build better nand modules to increase densities, eventually prices should come back down. 🤞SanDisk said to be working on the first ever 1PB SSD.
I just wish they’d go back to using 1024 base vs 1000 for measuring capacities. A 10TB drive shows up as 9TB inside Windows at least, because they calculate capacities differently. I know you’re not actually losing space, but it’d be nice to have a toggle to switch TiB and TB.
