Weirdly this reminds me of an Atlantis video game where they search for the book and map. Can’t remember what it’s called, and it feels like a fever dream, but I think it had a flying plane section like this.

I remember getting it in a cereal box (IMAGINE) as a surprise and that’s what we played all summer lol.
