Meh, raw beef tartare is just fine, it’s just usually completely unseasoned (in contrast to Thüringer Mett, which is pre-seasoned), so you need to add salt etc. yourself. It’s really good with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Mett is usually unseasoned as well and citrus juice is weird
Don’t knock it til you try it. Citrus juice is a great addition to many foods, and it’s a classic with raw beef.
