    Hah! It’s roughly 50-50 but even the 50% that doesn’t mind honey would usually buy some sort of syrup. It’s usually about it being an Ingredient.

    Some otherwise vegan sweets are coated in super thin bee’s wax, so they don’t stick together. Many don’t mind, especially if the alternative is wrapping them in plastic.

      It seems strange to buy agar syrup from the other side of the world and to rationalise it they point out the worst practices done to bees by the largest mega corporations. But can’t admit not having the doe for biological honey.

      This wouldn’t get the vegan packaging label in Germany. As well as products with ingredients derived from lac insects (shellac), scarlet scale insects (carmine), lately mealworms/crickets in salty snacks, pasta and bread.
