i wanted to make some kind of praise post for a while but always felt it would feel undeserved and thus not real. so this is how i’m doing it instead.

this idea came from android now giving you this trophy icon when you clear your notifications (on my pixel 6 with graphene at least).
so i thought

oh, why not go further with this

and now here we are. i considered replacing the trophy with a heart buuuut that would have been too much change, i did want this to look somewhat real.

dunno how this will land. let’s see. so far, image edits generally do worse for comment-count than fully original posts sooooooooooo we’ll see.

      I feel like the gold star stickers are a somewhat weak proxy fir what one actually wants… or rather, fir what i would actually want.

      they feel like “you did your homework, have a sticker” type things.

      but what i really want is ti have someone come up behind me, look over my shoulder, go “ah yes, you got it. exactly right” near my hear and give some shoulder pats.

      i dont think i have that kind of kink but id imagine thats much more exciting and fulfilling mayhaps.
