This is a big reason why feminism has had issues reaching beyond its white middle to upperclass demographic. While on paper it emphasizes the collective engagement of women of all races and social classes but on paper it often only wanted the equality of white women with white men.
I believe in the continued pursuit of the true equality of women and men but im hard pressed to trust any white woman who calls herself a feminist and this is exactly why
