    I keep forgetting that the USA doesn’t even use $1 coins, it’s paper usually…

    What a weird “world currency”.

    But that’s nothing new and I don’t want Trump to “fix” it with yet another ego-stroking grift. 🤮

      Man, after experiencing Euro currency, I much prefer it over the bulky USD currency. Like it feels so much better especially the coins

        Oh ok, I didn’t know that. Every bit of imagery I’ve seen, real or fiction, still or moving, points to the $1 bill being the main thing.

          Yeah we’ve had dollar coins going back to 1794.

          The famous ones are the Morgan Dollar, Peace Dollar, Susan B Anthony silver dollar, Eisenhower Dollar, and the whole presidential line of gold dollars that went up to Reagan initially, and added HW Bush after he passed.

          Americans just don’t use coins that often so you don’t see them in circulation much. A lot of soda machines give out dollar coins as change though.
