My last partner screamed at me during an argument and instead of deciding to inform them about how it’s not cool to argue in front of potential future children, I just left and didn’t go back.
Adult relationships aren’t free from arguments, but they should absolutely be free of screaming at each other like children
I agree, but I also think some grace should be given to allow people to break old habits and build new ones. I don’t think this alone should be the deciding factor, if they agree to work on it. It may be the final straw though.
For me personally, I yell far easier than I’d like when arguing. It’s something I learned from my parents. I know it’s bad, but it still happens sometimes. I do it less frequently than I used to at least. Maybe someday it’ll be near zero…
